Over the past 4 years, they have consistently remained people in my life that will unwaveringly turn my attention back to God as my source of hope, strength and victory. Watching how they walk in their relationship with the Lord encourages you to want to grow deeper in yours. A couple years ago, a mentoring group was established that met weekly in Christine’s house. Her mentorship walked us through freedom from lies, habits and bondages that were keeping us from fully experiencing the promises God has for us. I appreciated how Christine would teach us, not so that we could enjoy moments of freedom, but in order for us to live a life totally free and to turn around and teach others as well. There is one particular night that I remember when I had come to my limit of dealing with self-hatred and suicidal ideation. That night Christine prayed and declared that the spirit of death had to leave. The heaviness I had been carrying for nearly 10 years broke off that night as she continued to prophesy purpose and declare truth. The tools that they equipped us with, I continue to use in ministry today!
