Gift Packet


We offer gift packets and a smile for two hours every Sabbath afternoon.

Going home to home can be intimidating for some, so our method is non-threatening and easy.

Sabbath afternoon:

1. Church members gather together
- "Let there be in every church, well-organized companies of workers to labor in the vicinity of that church." ChS. p. 72. 

2. Start with prayer
-“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray…” 2 Ch. 7:14

3. Review SHINE Training Sheet
- “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” 2 Tim. 2:15.

4. Share Gift Packets house to house
- “Among the members of our churches there should be more house-to-house labor in giving Bible readings and distributing literature.” 9T. p. 127.

It is really that simple, and probably easier than you might think! We have put together a Ministry Guide and Training Portfolio which highlights the specific details of how to start a weekly SHINE outreach program in your church. Overall, the program is designed to encourage and facilitate all church members, regardless of occupation,  to stretch their faith and to taste of God’s faithfulness.
